I called the hotel and they filed a security report. Someone from Marriott did call, but I was not home (I was at a Marriott in Chicago). On Apr 14 2011 After returning from one night stay at the Marriott in mid-March 2011, a few days later I notices about 20 bed bug bites on my arms and legs. I noticed all the bites one morning and they all went away a three days later. I have not had any other bites since, so it seems none of the bug hitched a ride home with me.

On Dec 12 2010 mcgorr wrote, ...stay elsewhere. The hotel is mediocre,the room we were in was tired, the service varies from excellent to downright rude and the location is far from the city. Staff vary from fantastic to downright rude, but you never know which you'll get at any given time, Management certainly did not respond in any way to our complaint. Give it a miss. Bedbugs abound in new york, I'm not sure about this one.

The desk clerk found us another room right away, but it was hard to sleep without thinking about things crawling on you. The plus. is that they were quick to find us another room.
