On Apr 12 2012 I stayed on the 14th floor of this hotel Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. On Tuesday at work, over the period of an hour or so, I noticed that I was itching my forehead and shoulders. Soon after I found what looked like lots of mosquito bites all over my shoulders.(No mosquitoes this time of year in NYC). Only when I returned home to California (still itching) did I realize it was bedbugs....

On Feb 28 2011 Bohemia123 wrote, ...to depart. So it was a stinky train ride back. So in short, if you want a clean place - doesn't have bed bugs and is reasonably convenient - stay here. The price without the Living Social Discount might not justify it. There are some other amazing options in this price point (Hotel Roger Williams, The Royalton) which are far better then this one. So I recommend, but you probably can do better.

On Jul 12 2010 Just checked out at 2am this morning due to finding a live bed bug in our bed. The bedding is white but the comforters, rugs, side tables and head boards are all brown so I guess it was impossible to spot until it made it onto the white sheets. Called the front desk manager about this and her response was "Welcome to New York" Will never stay at this hotel again!
