On Jul 25 2011 July 22, 2011 My daughter awoke me with "I think there is a bed bug in my bed right below my face". Sure enough the room had bed bugs. Apparently this room was treated 10 days prior to for bed bugs and they were still there. The hotel moved us to another room in the newer tower and offered medical care, laundry and sprayed the luggage. Apparently they have guests report bed bugs once a month or so.

On Feb 9 2011 fil-a-go wrote, ...didn't speak english. The internet is $10/day and it costs $3/day to use the inroom safe. We did find a bug in a chocolate bar we left on the table, but no bed bugs. I love the location, and will stay in one of the other local hotels next time. I just like my hotel rooms to feel cleaner. We slept with the windows open to have fresh air. I bet they regularly fumigate the rooms to control the bugs.

The rooms were old, dirty and smelled. I woke up in the morning with bites from bed bugs all over my body. Also the whole hotel smells like fish. The onyl positive is the hotel is right across the street from the beach.
