I did not see bed bugs nor was I bothered by people of dubious reputations as often mentioned in earlier reviews. Most of the visitors I encountered were Asians like me so I will not have any problem if you booked me again in this hotel for an overnight stay. For longer stays I would look for other hotels.

To our disgust when we got into our single beds both of them were crawling with bed bugs, yuk! We immediately left room and demanded a refund, which we got straight away. We asked for lift to airport and spent from 1.0am sitting in empty airport waiting for checkin to open 4 hours later.

I suppose, overall it was better than sleeping on the beach but IDK, I kinda think the streets in Waikiki seemed safer than being locked in a room at this place. Oh well, we survived and didnt see any roaches or bed bugs so I guess it was all OK.

On Jan 10 2011 i stayed at this terrible hotel at the 7 january 2010. i could not sleep for a few hours due to constantly itching and scratching. i look closely with flash light no the sheets, and could see spots, as well as red spots on my skin.
