On Oct 1 2012 9/28/12 Found live bedbug on pillow in the morning. Thought I had felt something on me during the night. Manager not on duty at check-out, but desk person refunded my money without hesitation. I wonder if this is a lingering problem at this hotel? I should have checked the registry first, but thought I could "trust" Hampton Inn. Will never stay here again.

On Jul 6 2012 I checked in June 30, 2012 and was given a room on the 5th floor. When I observed the room, there were alive and dead bugs in it. I immediately left the room and informed the manager. They were aware of the issue, gave me an apology and offered to refund my money. I took the money and left ASAP!

On Jun 16 2012 On 6/16/12 my husband, son and I stopped here on our way to the outer banks. We checked into room 127. I went in myself first (no bags) to inspect. Found a molted bedbug skin in the nightstand, and when I removed the fitted sheet from the bed, the remains of two dead bedbugs were on the mattress. On Aug 1 2011 An employee in my department of the Maryland Judiciary stayed in Room 108 from 7/25/11 until 7/28/11. She noticed a bite or two after the first night, but thought it was mosquito bites. By the time she returned on 7/28/11, she was covered in bites. She went to the doctor on 7/29, and he took one look at her bites and said there was no doubt that they were bedbug bites.
