On Dec 14 2012 A Coworker from out of town stayed at this hotel and has gotten bitten multiple times by bed bugs. Good thing he is leaving today! 12-14-12

On Sep 6 2012 Bri and Kate wrote, 9-1-12 we stayed at the Hampton of southfield. Brian got eaten alive by bed bugs. They turned back the mattress and there were stains of bed bugs and dead and alive bugs everywhere. Brian was bitten more than 10 times and even a week later is not healed from these bug bites. Hampton gave us a free night and put our clothes in the dryer. Really horrible experience.

On Dec 30 2011 302Nicole302 wrote, Do not stay here, our room was very dirty. One bed had blood on the sheets (fresh bright red) and the other bed had a lot of hair on the sheets. The bathroom shower had lukerwarm shower water, that was more towards the cold side. My parents room was the same with the addition of bed bugs. The rooms need updated, cleaned, and bug bombed. Keep driving and find someplace else.

On Sep 14 2011 bettybook wrote, First, the hotel was hard to find. Upon entering, the hotel looked nice. But after passing through the breakfast area to the elevator - ick! The walls and carpet were filthy. Upon entering our room, the carpet was stained. We lifted the sheets to inspect for bedbugs (we always do this, there were none) and found the mattress stained. The breakfast was OK. The hotel staff were the bright spot here....

On Jul 19 2010 411foryou wrote, ...in the lobby on computer which I was okay with but they ran up and down the halls by the rooms at all hours of the day. My room was clean and the housekeeping staff was nice. The staff was informative when asked about places in the area to eat or shop. The big problems were the elevators and a/c. I must add that I did check my bed for bedbugs and I am happy to report that NO bedbugs were found.
