The hot tub was nice and toasty (better than too cool), and pool area was very clean. I checked for bedbugs as well (after reading comments on here), but saw no sign of them. My overall rating would be one notch higher, but the price was a bit high for a motel of this caliber. Would stay here again if price was right.

The room was clean, the check in staff quick and efficient and breakfast Sunday was more than adequant. We will return. During my stay in India, with the Peace Corps, I lived with bed bugs. If there is an infestation, you will see all kinds of signs of the critters, and not just a single spot....

On Jul 19 2011 ...second morning I woke up and there were many more blood spots. I threw back the sheets and saw a bug. I trapped it in a cup and looked it up on the internet. Sure enough - it was a bed bug. I told the front desk staff, and they seemed indifferent about it. I even told them that I had evidence of the bug and they didn't seem to care. Thankfully, I was checking out and did not have to stay another night.

On Jul 18 2011 suite662 wrote, ...but managed to scoop it up into a cup. Did some Internet research and confirmed with a buddy that it was indeed a BEDBUG and not just some tick. I should've brought it down to the Front Desk for management to see, but I had way too much going on. Please have your pest control company revisit this issue and don't "sweep it under the comforter". Be honest and be fair to your customers. Thank you.
