On Oct 12 2010 PammyLorel wrote, ...to be from the 60's. I looked around when I got here a few hours ago to make sure there were no bedbugs. I didn't see any - but there is plywood in between the mattress and boxspring because the beds are so old and saggy. I have a relative getting a transplant at Mayo and this hotel was booked by family. If it was my choice, I would've walked out the minute I got here. I am an experienced traveler...

On Oct 3 2010 I found out I had bed bugs a few weeks after staying at the Kahler Grand Hotel - on the 8th floor (819?). I didn't get bit at the hotel as far as I could tell, and I only started getting noticeable bites a couple of weeks later. I'm not positive I got the bed bugs from the hotel, but it seems like the most likely suspect.
