On Aug 10 2012 duckgirl22 wrote, the blake hotel website claims to be a luxurious hotel. this is a complete false representation to the poor travelers looking for some of the finer lodging facilities. when we arrived for our stay there were no refrigerators or microwaves in rooms. The antique elevator took 5 plus minutes to get to floor 4. The swimming pool was unheated and filthy. Other guest were complaining of bed bugs as well....

Every time a guest walked up the stairs, the door on floor 7 slammed so hard (and loud) my room door vibrated and the wall even seemed to rattle too! Would never stay there again. TV guide was from December 2011! Maid knew nothing about updated one. Only good thing I can say is bed was comfortable and no bedbugs.

The room was not super infested or I would have received more bites. Elevators do not work very well. It took 5 or minutes to get an elevator. Management didn't really give a ____ either and no refunds once you check in. Really thought I had entered the twilight zone and still fighting over credit card billing. Enter at risk of infestation and disease. This place should be condemned by Charlotte Health Department to whom I have written. Avoid like the plague!
