I have stayed here off and on for years but this place is going down too fast for me. They can renovate all they want but if housekeeping is not doing its job properly then it is all for naught. On Jun 24 2012 ...this location, ground floor in a newly refurbished room for the month of March, 2010 without any incident of bed bug bites or infestation. The motel had it's good and bad points, but bed bugs were not one of them. I still afvise you to thororughly check your room before accepting it as the rooms are somewhat dark in decoration and bugs may be more difficult to detect. RED ROOF INN - SECAUCUS NJ

On Nov 2 2011 Checked into Room 339 on 10/25/2011 for a job in the area. Checked the mattress, sheets, and bed board and didn't see any bed bugs however about five hours later one crawled across my shirt and then found two more in the bed nearby. On Nov 4 2008 dkipping wrote, ...and not necessarily a problem of the motel. Needless to say, we are now home, both my hubby and daughter have a raft of spots on their bodies. My daughter had to miss a day off school and my hubby a day off work to go to the doctor - who pronounced the bites were probably bed bugs! YUCK! Needless to say, we won't be going back there EVER AGAIN and would certainly NOT RECOMMEND this establishment.
