On Aug 31 2012 TravelKate12 wrote, Stayed at the Hilton in August 2012. We chose the hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews for location, staff, facilities. Unfortunately, the bed bug situation ruined our trip! If staying at this hotel or any other in Times Square, check bed, closets, headboard, etc. before you get comfortable! Check websites that track bed bugs- other incidents reported at this hotel and others in the area.

Did not complain about that but after discovering a bed bug or some type of blood-sucking insect in our bed, that was the last straw. We reported this and they moved us to another room. While we appreciate the gesture, we are really disappointed with Hilton. We paid for a top notch hotel but got a really bad one. Not staying at another Hilton again.

We're pretty sad that this hotel (or the hilton family of hotels) has this issue with one of their signature hotels in the city. I would'nt recommend this hotel due to that issue along with the remodeling that's currently going on.

On Oct 4 2011 Bugged out wrote, I stayed at this Hotel in Feb 2010. By May my house was infested with bedbugs. The exterminator confirmed that it would take approximately 3 months to see a manifestation. this was the only hotel I stayed at. It took 10 treatments to get rid of them. What a nightmare. On Jun 22 2011 2011 I was an employee at this hotel and believe me they have bedbugs they just hide this problem very well. If you stay at this hotel be careful.

On Sep 16 2010 I was severally bitten by bed bugs during my stay from Sept. 2nd - 7th. I noticed a few bites the day before my departure, but once I got home I started itching really bad on my arms and shoulders.
