On Sep 16 2011 perrystreet wrote, ...had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. Not a big deal but very motel-like. Mattress/box spring covered in a plastic zipper bag which made me nervous thinking perhaps there had been a bed bug issue but maybe that's what hotels are doing these days just in case (by the way, bed bugs are also found in headboards, carpets, wood frames etc so covering the mattress certainly doesn't prevent them).

On Aug 7 2011 lilthebest wrote, Wanted to stay at this hotel on Priority Club Points. When checked in and went to the room found that the matresses were covered with a plastic cover which was sign that they had a problem with bed bugs. Checked out immediatly and decided to stay at a different hotel. Got my points back. WILL not stay at this hotel.

On Apr 10 2011 Cheryl wrote, ...hands and knees I could see several of them. I took one to my computer and looked at pictures of bed bugs and realized that's what they were! I then went to get my PJ's off the bed to check out and realized that the bed is covered in a zippered plastic bag type thing. The internet told me that this can be a way to "encase bed bugs and eggs after an infestation". I got out of there as fast as I could!
