On Mar 4 2011 On March 2, checked into hotel and found a bed bug in a picture frame above bed. Asked to be moved to another room and no bed bugs were found in the new room.

However - I feel compelled to share that shortly after I returned home, I had bedbugs in my apartment. I have contacted Holiday Inn Priority Club mgmnt to let them know. On Mar 23 2006 A TripAdvisor Member wrote, ...uptown to Times Square. The room was small, but adequate, no fridge in the room. The bathroom was very nice and it was clean. No sighting of any bed bugs here on our trip. The mattresses looked brand new, I checked. Overall, this was a nice hotel, but maybe a little overpriced. I guess it could be just the time of year (St.Patricks Day) and normal for NYC. I would do some comparative shopping.

Of course the hotel staff totally denied the problem, so beware - those critters are still at large, and those itchy bites don't go away for days. Try complaining and you might get a room change, but be prepared for the entire staff treating you like you're the one to blame! A very humiliating...
