On Oct 19 2012 Cosmetic Doc S wrote, ...have left and checked in at another hotel. Next, I get to my room and 2 of the lamps were missing lightbulbs, toilet seat wasn't even fastened on, bath tub wouldn't drain, room smelled moldy and the AC didn't work properly. The highlight of my stay was the constant construction going on in the neighboring rooms and entire floor. Bed Bugs wouldn't even stay at this place! Absolutely ridiculous!

On Nov 26 2011 I stayed at this hotel November 14-17th 2011. I felt a little itchy on my left thigh during my stay but though nothing of it. Upon returning home the bites appeared more each day! Great way to prepare for Thanksgiving. I have contacted the hotel and they said the room had been inspected and treated. I have never veen so itchy in my life! On Nov 26 2011 cardin11 wrote, I stayed at the Hilton Long Island Huntington on November 14-17th in room 375. Felt itchy on my leg during my stay but thought nothin of it. When I got back home I had bites on my arms with more showing up each day! A nightmare for sure. On Sep 8 2010 We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding in Long Island. My niece staying on the second floor had series of bed bug bites. Obviously the hotel is yet to treat this infestation from the previous post in 2009.

On Aug 23 2010 August 9 to 12, 2010 Room 545 (which the hotel did shut down following report). Covered in 80+ bites on hands, arms, feet, back and face. Hotel claims to cover all mattresses to prevent the bugs from burrowing and brings in a dog to sniff out bugs once a month. Did not prevent occurence this time though.
