Over all I was happy with the location and the cleanliness and comfort of the room (I had heard about bed bugs in NYC so I was very concerned) I did get a fair rate by using the 3rd party, over all the stay was decent. PaPa and the other doormen were excellent. Had many great suggestions of where to go and what to see. Very friendly, funny and likeable.

I thought I had an allergy to the shower gel or something but then when my wife noticed the same red bite marks on the flight home we instantly knew what the problem was. On Jul 18 2011 My 18 year old daughter and I stayed here after searching for an upscale hotel with a clean report. We chose the NY Palace and there were NO bedbugs! Coming from out of state, we were very aware of the bedbug problems in NYC and took great care in researching before we booked reservations. On Jul 17 2011 If anyone has been bitten by bedbugs in this wonderful hotel they have been truly unlucky. Our family and friends stayed at The New York Palace and did not have one incident involving bed bugs or bites of any kind. We occupied 50 rooms in total and everyone had the most incredible stay. Figured it was just a pimple. My wife unpacked my clothes from the sealed suitcase today and got bitten 3 times.
