On Oct 13 2011 very mad wrote, ...travels to hotels alot and the past month he been staying at this hotel. when he's been coming home hes had red bumps that looked almost like spider bites and extremely itchy, it didn't dawn on me until today i found a bed bug on my stove. i made the coinnection, his suitcase was right next to the stove so i think i came from that and not him but now i have to go through my house very carefully.

I was able to get another room on the same floor which did not smell shabby. It actually smelled fresh but this new room did not have refrigrator or a microwave (the previous room did)....

Calling a taxi can be very bothersome at this location and it is about an 11 dollar cab ride to the train station. Additionally, after my last night in the hotel, I had several red raised bumped on my legs. My doctor presumed they were bed bugs. So watch out for this hotel. It isn't the best.

We had 2 children with us and I cringe just thinking about my kids being in that room. It just never felt clean and it didn't help that there were many dozens of mattresses out back that one can only assume were filled with bedbugs. We'll find another hotel next time we're on Long Island.

On Jan 15 2011 Room 511, January 12 thru 15, found a live bed bug in the room. Upon return home and checking the internet, we have determined it was undeniably a bed bug.

On Dec 8 2008 Red Roof Long Island wrote, I stayed at the red roof inn same location room number 331 on nov the 3rd, 2008 I received over 100 bed bug bites. I have retained an attorney. I washed all clothing, bought new suitcases. still after over 4 weeks still have itching, and still retain scars.Sought medical attention right away, video taped and took photos. when I alerted management they failed to tell me that someone else was bitten as well.
