On Sep 10 2011 RonFinlay wrote, ...the Museum of Modern Art, Carnegie Deli, Central Park and Lincoln Center - all less than 10 minutes' walk. The hotel is fine and free from bed-bugs, service good. Breakfast is satisfactory but unexciting. Air conditioning in the room was noisy. Worst feature is the lift/elevator. Only two to serve a 16-storey building and one was out of order for part of our stay: often had to wait quite a while.

On Sep 30 2010 Twice Bitten wrote, Four days into a 8 day stay at the Blakely (third week of sept 2010), I was bitten by bed bugs. My wife called down to the front desk to report it and they said they had no issues with bugs at all but that someone from management would contact us.
