On Sep 5 2012 ...I always take an upper floor room if possible. However, on 8/26/12, I found and killed an adult bedbug on my pillow in a first-floor room. I did not have any bites. I looked around as much as I could, and didn't see any more bedbugs, or any signs of an infestation. I checked my belongings, shoes, etc, very carefully, and no other bedbugs were found. The beds are not designed well to keep bedbugs...

On Jun 27 2011 SavageTraveler wrote, ...the refridgerator door would not stay closed, and we found crumbs and cobwebs. But, at least NO bedbugs! I liked the complimentary fresh popcorn in the lobby, but they needed to attend to the coffee/tea area more often. The hotel is located right off the interstate, in an area with very little restaurants. You either have to drive to the next exit or walk across the parking lot to the Wood & Wine....
