On Sep 1 2012 Entered hotel Wednesday. Woke up Thursday morning with welts and sores on body and head. Went to hospital suspecting a diagnosis of Shingles. Dr. confirmed the welts and sores were caused by bed bug bites instead. Went back to hotel and was moved to a different room, only to find later that room was also infested. Had to leave the hotel to find a safe place to sleep for the remainder of the trip.
