On Jul 4 2012 This complaint adds to the horrors reported about the The Best Western New Cumberland Inn in PA. Our 3-nights in the Inn with our 2 grandsons was a horrifying experience. The the worst of all horrors was when my husband noticed red welts over his abdomen and legs. Why would I risk (even though it looked clean) take a pillow that could have bed bugs and then introduce them to my home. NO. Called Best Western corporate and they agreed with me on the phone but called me back saying they would not refund the money. DON'T STAY HERE, they do these things I guess to make up for their expenses or something.

On Oct 3 2011 Stayed there in August room 315. Saw a bug on a pillow, but was not sure if it was a bed bug or not. Woke up with 60 bites. My fiance showed bites after 5 days. Called the manager 4 times, and each time they said they will call us back, or will refund our stay. Had to throw out luggage, and other bags that took in with us in the room. On Aug 23 2011 August 6th overnight stay. 3 days following my stay I woke up with several bites on my arms and shoulders. Increased over the course of the next few days to over 60 bites on my face, arms, chest, shoulders.

Right before going to bed saw a bug on a pillow but did not know what it was, so i figured, it's summer, no big deal. Had to through everything out including the luggage once got home. Don't stay there if you can avoid it. when Got home looked up complains about bed bugs in this hotel and sure enough I was not the only one!.
