We pretty much did what we could to not sleep on the bed the way it was, we shook out the sheets, my husband flipped over the mattress and looked for bedbugs. The carpet was so grimy we wore socks and slippers while we were in the room. We used a towel to put in the bottom of the tub before we showered just soour bare feet wouldn't touch the tub.
