Management said they would credit a full refund and it would take 3-5 days for me to see it. The refund never came and they said they could not find any more bugs. I have pictures of bites and a bug I squished. In 8 days, they only cleaned the room 3 times. I complained daily....

On Nov 14 2012 Joeez wrote, Found a bed bug! Brought it to the front desk. They switched me rooms and told me I could talk to management in the morning about a refund. The assistant general manager truley did his best but all the owner would do was offer us a 15-20% discount on the next nights stay! Not okay! I was exposed to bed bugs at another hotel in the past and I'm now very parinoid! A refund or a free room would have satisfied...

On Feb 24 2012 ...it was dry skin and went back to sleep. when I woke up the next morning my friend said there was a bug on me so I jumped up and there were tiny little bugs crawling in the bed. Some of them were red because of all of the blood they sucked out of me. It was so disgusting and when we told the lady at the front desk she did not even seem supprised. I will never stay in another howard johnson hotel again!

On Apr 26 2011 rooms was bedbug infested. I inform the clerk on duty and she acted as if it was not a big deal and informed me that I should contact the manager. I contacted the manager on duty Julia and she sounded kind of shocked and told me that she was going to investigate the issue and was to contact me in 30 minitues. As of today I have not yet heard of this woman. I was severely bitten by those nasty insects...
