On Oct 6 2011 natnat n wrote, there were bed bugs in my room. the lady did not want to refund me for this, i left anyway. i asked to speak to a supervisor and he was super rude! ugh how are these people in charge? unbelievable. people like this should work at a mc donalds cleaning the floor. no manners, no professionalism, horrible customer service skills. the place is disgusting and so is the staff, and most of all the owner....

On Apr 9 2011 lellybean wrote, I read the reviews after checking in and was feeling pretty ____ out. Thankfully my stay exceeded my expectations. The room was a bit run down, but it was clean. There were no bed bugs, trust me, I did a very thorough search! Also the managment did allow me to check in with my small dog. this definitely isn't the most luxurious hotel that I have ever stayed in, but after travelling throughout the world...

On Apr 6 2011 OnceBitten wrote, Stayed here last July and also had bed bug problems. When we complained to the manager he didn't even look up from his paper or speak a word, just slid 2 more room keys across the counter! We checked out the next morning despite having pre-paid for 5 nights. We were assured we would be refunded the money, but I still haven't seen a cent. nearly $700! Days Inn have been NO HELP AT ALL. They keep referring...

On Mar 7 2011 NorthernMom_8 wrote, We got in at midnight. My husband checked us in. When he came back out to the van, he said "Let's just go to our room and sleep. Don't look at anything too closely." The beds were clean even if the floors weren't. And I didn't see any sign of bed bugs. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast though. It was stale.

I contacted Days Inn Corporation and was told they could not do anything except ask the owner to call me, which did not happen. I contacted the Utah BB and the owner did respond to my complaint by writing I must have gotten them somewhere else since I didn't report them the first night...

On Oct 20 2010 dbemae wrote, ...was disgusting, the smell was gross, they didn't have any extra blankets for the kids, pool in the parking lot, no clock in the room, and best of all, we brought home bed bugs. It cost us over $700 and a huge pain in the ____ to get them out of our house. I get angry just thinking about this place! Never, ever, go there. In fact, i will never stay at a Day's Inn anywhere because of this place.

On Oct 10 2010 Sam_dantaylor wrote, ...hour later he woke up with even more bites, started looking through the bedding and found little bugs crawling everywhere - even over and around our pillows. We were so ____ out! We took a quick shower, gathered our stuff and left. After talking with the desk clerk, he assured us that we wouldn't be charged anything. So we left. The next day we looked at our bank statement and we were charged for...

On Sep 3 2010 usatrip_2010 wrote, Very dirty, very rude staff! We couldn't cancel our reservation so we had to stay there. Very expensive for the what you get. We didn't see any bedbugs (guess we were lucky?). There are other cheaper and probably better motels/hotels/b&b's in Moab than Days Inn!

On Aug 26 2010 Bondgirl_Brenda wrote, ...returned home, we discovered more bites and became really sick. We called the hotel and requested to speak to a manager. A male person that answered the phone refused to give his name, denied having bed bugs, and then told us not to come back to his hotel. Don't worry we will never go back. The reason I'm writing this review is to warn others not to stay where they will be attacked by bed bugs.

On Jun 23 2010 MICH618 wrote, I read reviews before I stayed here and was worried. But GOOD NEWS-I didn't find any bedbugs. While the hotel could use a little updating, it was adequate. The breakfast was OK. The hotel staff was OK too. I'd say it was average, no frills. It had a computer but it didn't work. It would depend on which friend was asking for a recommendation. Its pretty basic. Its convenient to the National Parks.

On Jun 6 2010 tsnider wrote, Shabby, gross, & bed bugs. When I showed it to the manager he told me I was incorrect and it was "some other kind of insect". I looked it up on-line when I got home & there is no question in my mind - it was a bed bug. I would not advise staying there. I would have rather slept in my car.

On Apr 16 2010 momobug wrote, I also stayed at Days Inn (August 2009) and found bed bugs. We had a second floor room (can't remember the room number). After finding bed bugs we let the manager know. He asked us if we'd been 'camping in the mountains'. We had. He said we probably brought them with us and acted annoyed with us. Then we heard him on the phone telling a cleaning maid to 'spray the bug stuff' in our room. While walking...

On Oct 7 2009 adamb wrote, We stayed here for two nights (Oct 4 and 5). We had two rooms over the course of the stay. We didn't notice a problem the first night - room was located on the first floor. The second night in room 227 we experienced the bites. The manager seemed knowledgable about the problem yet still rented us the room. Tripadvisor.com, which we read after the fact clearly indicates this property has had trouble...

On Oct 6 2009 adambNYC wrote, We discovered the bed bugs. I fear they knew about the problem and rented us a room anyway because the hotel seemed very lax about the situation. They even wanted to charge us for the night we stayed there. I think not! They advertise WIFI but it doesn't work in the rooms.

On May 19 2009 J D wrote, We stayed for one night and found large mulitple bed bugs. I was bitten more then 50 times. I have never wrote a review for anyone but this one needs an exterminator. The hotel owner is very rude and the carpets are fithy. The pool was not up and running when everywhere else was. I will say the beds were comfortable until you lifted a sheet and saw bed bugs crawling everywhere. The owner told me all...

On Feb 23 2009 mtnbiker112 wrote, Had booked 3 nights, but could only handle one night and hotel would not refund subsequent nights. After arriving late, we nestled into bed only to be awoken later by a crawling/biting sensation on our skin. On Jul 4 2008 LizCot wrote, This was the shabbiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We spent 3 nights here in June. The carpets were filthy and during the 3 days we stayed there, they weren't vacuumed once. The carpets going up the stairs were revolting. There were bedbugs in the bed. Three nights of bedbugs (Room 203) can do one's skin a fair amount of damage. Rather pay a little bit extra and stay in a clean hotel.
