On Aug 19 2012 Spent a week at Homewood Suites, with 4 others on buisness. Found bites on my leg on the day before we checked out. The morning we checked out, found a bed bug crawling across my bed. Grabbed it and put it in a baggie. Turned it into staff. They were very attentive and took it seriously. This has only recently happened, so I do not know the outcome. A month later they did confirm bed bugs were on the mattress and headboard. This is an experience you never want to have, it stays with you long after the bites have healed and has diminished my trust in hotels. On Oct 6 2010 Sarah Kiddle wrote, ...information (name, room number), and we were never informed by any guest of this issue. There has been no evidence of any bedbugs before of after this guests' stay. We have a contract with a reputable exterminator that comes to our hotel on a regular basis for pest control. We question the validity of this claim, as there is no name or contact information, and no evidence of the alleged incident.

On Sep 21 2010 m wrote, July 19th - 2 Aug - I never knew what hit me I was covered with bites from my pinky toe to my ankles on both feet it was horrible. To make it worse I thought they were mosquito bites since I just got here from Mississippi. They lasted for weeks. HORRIBLE - didn't think twice about it until I started reading about bedbugs on websites and what the symptoms were.
