On Feb 29 2012 uscgdhs wrote, Since posting, the hotel has gotten back in contact with me (and provided regular updates as the situation changed) and told me they had a pest control company out to survey the rooms I had been in. The hotel said the company they hired did find bedbugs in one of the rooms and is in the process of exterminating them and checking adjoining rooms and ones above and below.

On Feb 24 2012 uscgdhs wrote, ...covered in itchy red spots and a doctor confirmed "without a doubt" that they were caused by biting insects, either bed bugs or fleas. I do not have any pets. I've spoken to management with the hotel who said they would take action, although they now will not return my calls. I do not know what action they've taken to correct the problem and I'll be filing a complaint with the health department.
