On Nov 14 2011 ...morning, both my son and I woke up with bumps that looked like mosquito bites. as we were laying there i noticed a bunch of red and brown little bugs all over the bed and inside the pillow cases. we called the front desk and they inspected both beds and saw even bigger bugs which resulted in bed bugs. they voided my transaction and called pest control. i will never stay at a ramada ever again.

On Jul 29 2011 Lorind wrote, ...friendly and helpful front office staff, and relatively quiet room. The bad: Our non-smoking room REEKED of cigarettes. Dingy, worn with dirty carpet. We didn't see any evidence of bedbugs. That said, we've had lovely stays in the past at the Holiday Inn Express (which is a bit pricier) and the Ocean Pacific Lodge (about the same, pricewise, as this Ramada), so those would be my recommendations.

On Nov 10 2010 ...I was also itchy. But I did not notice anything right away. This morning, half asleep, I saw a bug near the pillows on the other side. It appeared to look like a brown lady bug without my glasses. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and strained. It was not a lady bug but similar in size. On Sep 17 2010 On July 31, we stayed in room 107. When we woke up at 7:15 am, we happened to catch 4 bed bugs in our beds and watched 2 others escape. We gave the 4 in a cup to the front desk, who swore they didn't know they had bed bugs (although just now I see a report on this site from July 26th - so that confirms they were lying). They did quickly offer to return half of our $230 paid for the one night stay....
