On Oct 28 2012 Got bites on arm and leg. Asked hotel to move me, wash my clothes, and disinfect my luggage. They did all of these things with kindness and understanding. New room was already being treated with UV-C light when I came into room.

On Jul 6 2012 BA31pilot wrote, I would have loved to give this hotel a good rating as everything was perfect. except for the bed bug bites. Three small bites ruined it for me. Though the location, customer service etc. was fantastic. Let me clarify, that the rooms were very clean and well maintained, but nevertheless that wasn't enough to rid it of bugs.

On Nov 19 2011 PP wrote, I stayed at the Marriott Marquis on the 10th floor Nov 4-8 2011. After the first night I noticed a rash on my chest, and the following days I developed multiple bite-type rashes on my torso and arms. I am awaiting a response from the hotel regarding my bed bug claim. In the meantime I recommend staying elsewhere.

On Nov 19 2011 lapiccolo wrote, I stayed at the Marriott Marquis for a conference Nov. 4-8 2011. The location was very convenient, however for $300 a night I would have expected wifi access in the room (not just the lobby) and better cleanliness. I had several bed bug bites by the time I left and more appeared the following days. I will not be staying here again.

That's what Marriott gets for how they've handled my concern with BED BUG BITES that emerged on my back, on the 4th day of my stay at the Marquis on 4th Street in San Francisco. As those of you who've looked into the unseemly subject of bed bugs know, the classic pattern of bites is a cluster of three, known in the argo as the "breakfast, lunch, and dinner" pattern. Further,...

On Oct 11 2011 Lilian m wrote, ...All these things can be tolerated but what I did not expect at all in a 4 star hotel is to get bed bug biting there. It started after two nights stay in the room and got worse and worse everyday so it ruined totally my time there. On our last day we looked under the bed and I found lots of rubbish there like it was not cleaned for ages. Cleaning is a real problem there and should be solved by the...

On Sep 9 2011 travelingtarheel85 wrote, My room had bed bugs, which really overshadowed everything else about the hotel. When I checked into the room I immediately noticed that it did not seem very clean, and after staying there for 2 nights I noticed bed bugs on my sheets. I was moved to another room and my laundry was done at the hotel, but I still had to pay for my room. I'm covered from head to toe in bed bug bites. Needless to say my...

On Sep 8 2011 When I checked into the hotel on August 29, 2011 I did not see any bed bugs, but I did notice that the room was not necessarily clean. On my second morning in the room I woke up to find a small bug in the bed next to me. I convinced myself it wasn't a bed bug, killed it and went about my day. When I went back to the room in the afternoon (after the room had been "cleaned"), I found a second bug about...

On Nov 12 2010 ...and was assigned to room 2242. After unpacking and getting ready for bed, I checked the bed for bugs. Being bitten by any type of parasitic bug is a huge phobia of mine. My husband travels often and when we travel together, I always check to assure the bed is bug free. Once satisfied, I turned out the lights except for the TV and got into bed. After about 20 minutes of watching a movie, a bug fell...

On May 12 2010 W wrote, I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and have significant bed bug bites. Am having to treat myself and my house now thanks to this hotel. Hotel claims that they will investigate through Ecolabs but they continue to "accidentally" follow up with me. Loss prevention officer told me they have never had a reported case. Not true.

I have 2 bites that I am going to the doctor for tomorrow and if I find out they are bedbugs-you will hear from me. That is not cool. Why have you cut back on the cleaning? Cleaning is the most important part of a room.right? The vents, bedding, pillows and floor were dirty. Gross! I called...
