On Apr 1 2012 Went to the Travelodge Downtown with my girlfriend. We went in the room and within five minutes we spotted a bed bug right in the center of the bed. Immediately we left and got a full refund.

I always think that people who moan about the lack of luxury should fork out a bit more money for a 4* hotel. This was basic, value and suited us great for an overnight stay. However, worst of all, we woke in the morning to find ourselves covered in bites and subsequently found at least 3 bed bugs crawling on the covers. We could not get out of the place quickly enough.
