Although the hotel is a bit on the older side and could use some fresh paint or good scrubbing/minor repairs, it worked well as a home base to sleep, and even relax in the pool in between visiting the convention center or theme parks. I did not see any bugs or bed bugs and didn't encounter any issues with my room or the folks that work there.

The staff were all friendly, but may not have spoke breakfast, I never saw scrambled eggs are breakfast, just boiled. The hotel is so for from everything, but you can walk to I-Drive in about 30 minutes and take the trolly.

On Jan 5 2012 T H wrote, ...I went to the front desk and was told we couldn't move because the motel was full (it was NYE). I was told the people above us were taking showers and not using the shower curtains properly and that it happens all the time. What?! Fix it! We moved to a new room the next night. I cannot prove my final issue with this motel, but I'm am pretty certain I got a bad case of bed bugs from stain here.

On Sep 12 2009 havinfuntravelin wrote, ...at. The walls have holes and the entire place smells like lemon cleaning solution. Yuck! I will not even attempt to shower here. The shower does not look inviting at all. The parking lot was scary and deserted. On a positive note, the internet connection works as I am writing this review sitting on the tiny double bed here at the hotel. We also didn't find any bed bugs on our visual inspection.
