On Jun 29 2012 ...in the pest control company immediately and it did not take long for them to confirm that we had bed bugs. I have no doubt he brought the bed bugs home from that hotel. I do not travel and that was the only place he has stayed recently. He informed me that they had replaced the carpet right before they arrived there. Perhaps bed bugs were the reason for this, however it did not solve their problem....

On May 31 2012 ...of May 19-21, 2012. Though there were minor updates, the room looked like it hasn't been occupied since the 1970s. The bedroom was dark and dingy. After returning home from the trip, I went to the ED twice for a staph skin infection (due to insect bite) and subsequently saw my PCP for bed bug bites. I have no doubt that these infections were a direct result of staying in the Sandpiper suite.
