On Sep 20 2011 Troy Hart wrote, I am the managing partner of Super 8 Humboldt. We did have a room that had bed bugs, just as the lady commented, on July 28, 2011. We immediately closed that room, and surrounding rooms and had them treated by EcoLab pest Control Company. We than threw away the 3 beds that were in the room, and replaced with all new beds. On Aug 7 2011 On July 28 I found a bedbug in the bed linens and took it to the hotel desk clerk. An exterminator was called by the clerk. He arrived after I had checked out and left town. I called to check on his findings and was told that the room did indeed have bedbugs present. The owner of the hotel was forthcoming about the facts.
