On Oct 1 2010 BDM_Pennsylvania wrote, ...Delayed check-in due to lack of housekeeping staff, rude and inexperienced front desk staff, rude manager, staff displays a don't care attitude. Expensive - over $250 nite. Most importantly, the mattresses are lumpy; there are holes in the floors, shabby overall, and left with bed bug bites! Do not stay here! Old, shabby, lack of security. The most terrible hotel/motel I have ever experienced.

On Sep 23 2010 wells4 wrote, I came home with bed bug bites on my body! Disgusting. Somethings should be done about these hotels/motels with this issue! Also, they allow smoking on their grounds and other visitors were smoking right outside of the rooms!

On Sep 19 2010 SL417 wrote, The hotel advertised its rooms as having queen beds - they were full. The rooms were dirty, holes in the floor. BED BUGS - no kidding! Woke up with bug bites. It was not cheap either. We paid $200+ a night. Staff was not friendly and very dismissive. The only good thing is where it was located - right across the street from the ferries to the Vineyard. Very deceiving pictures on the internet.

On Sep 13 2010 purpleurchin wrote, ...you enter the hallway, it is very narrow, out of date, and depressing. It gets worse. When we unlocked our door the threshold was dirty. The sink in the bathroom has rusted piping and grout missing on some of the tiles. I was so uncomfortable with the room that I checked the bedding for bed bugs. I hope we didn't come home with any. We only stayed one night and we will not be going back there.

The sheets were so old there were little bumps all over. The mattress pad was not over the entire mattress and we were afraid of getting bed bugs(thankfully did not).Yes, the location is great. we didn't have to pay for ferry parking and there were lots of things to walk to in the area.

Next year we will go to another hotel and not return to the Hyannis Harbor Hotel. We already know where we are staying. They are glad to take your money and pay top dollar but as we say in New York another tourist trap. The place is dirty like our room I got bit a few times and thought we had bed bugs.
