On Jul 26 2012 I wish I knew of this website prior to my stay at this hotel. Sure enough. red itchy bites. Bed Bugs! Front desk personel was upset at the accusation, denies it and offered another room. Had to wash all items and put suitcase outside. Still itching and that was ealier this week!

The room smelled so terrble I had to spray Lysol all over. The a/c didn't work right and the window wouldn't open. Would have complained but it was on business and just for one night thank goodness!

Like any hotel they are not without problems, but my problems have always been satisfactorily resolved by the Manager, Mr. Smith, who is a very nice guy. I have read some other reviews and can tell you from experience, I have never heard of bed bugs and never seen mold.

As I was staying in La Quinta Salem, NH, the next day, I returned to get my coat (lucky for me I was still in the area). All in all, not exactly a pleasant experience. But I do like La Quinta hotels (I stay with them in the West) so will be back hoping the bug issue has been resolved.
