They were NOT bed bugs. they ran fast, but I killed 7 the first morning and 8 the second morning. I found none late morning or after; only early morning. They seemed to come from the dropped ceiling in the bathroom and from under the commode....

I go back to the lobby and protest that I reserved an oceanview room and obviously was given the wrong room to find out from the front desk person that NONE of the rooms are oceanview only the hallways give you can oceanview room since this is one of the only hotels that is not parallel to the beach. The good thing was the room was clean with no bed bugs! A bit overpriced.

On Mar 7 2011 I stayed at the Clarion this past weekend. I am covered in bites, I did not see any bugs, but called the Manager and he confirmed it. There are bugs in room 1612! My roommate does not have bites, and the manager said only one bed had the bugs, and I asked which one and he said the one near the bathroom, yep - that was mine. These things itch so bad - I will NEVER stay here again.
