On Jul 24 2009 svscha wrote, My wife and I stayed at the Bar Harbor Regency (Holiday Inn property) July 19-20, 2009. The second morning we were there I woke up with bites on my chest. We did not think to check for bed bugs, but after researching the internet, I am sure this room had bed bugs. Please check your room if you stay at this hotel!

On Sep 11 2007 MLC2003 wrote, Beauty is deceiving from the outside and from pictures. Not very clean and staff less than friendly. Nightmare at 1:30 AM when we realized we had bed bugs crawling all over us! As infested as the beds were, we found it hard to believe that it hadn't already been reported prior to our stay or that staff shouldn't have been aware of the problem.
