On May 11 2011 Phil wrote, This is a follow up on the April report. The Management called, are treating rooms around mine, and offered to refund my stay. They are also training staff on identification etc. I am satisfied that the situation was well handled. The rooms were spotless (to look at), and I will stay there again if in Phoenix.

On May 4 2011 Phil wrote, April 27-29, 2011 Had about 3-4 bites the first night, another 6-8 next night (I was too busy to verify in between). Reported to Manager, and showed a bite. Am awaiting a response.

On Apr 20 2011 ...my return to the hotel that first day, I displayed numerous bites to the manager on duty. I am convinced there were bedbugs and that I brought them home in my luggage and laptop case. My local pest control expert gave me information which helped me avoid an infestation at home. I did freeze my luggage for several months, treat my laptop with infrared light and retreated all clothing with heat.

On Dec 1 2010 My husband found a bed bug in the sheets of our bed and noticed he had several bites on his chest. He called the hotel manager who came to the room with a representative from housekeeping. The housekeeper picked up the bug in question and said it was a beetle. As my husband had just been to a conference on bed bugs he knew what it was. It was not a beetle. My husband was removed from the room immediately...

On Oct 11 2010 ...mite on my sheets near my face. I flipped my covers over and jumped out of bed and found a brown bed bug on the top sheet. I put the bug in a kleenex and went to the lobby and showed the manager. He said he didn't know what is was a moved me to a suite. I pulled all the sheets off the new bed and checked it and found nothing. Upon returning home I put my luggage in the garage and sprayed it down....
