On Sep 26 2011 After staying in the room for 5 nights without a change of sheets (at my request) I was bitten by bedbugs on my back and neck during my last night. I believe that the hotel places several layers of bedding to protect the guests from the mattresses but if the sheets are not changed frequently the bedbugs will eventually migrate thru the layers and attack as in my case. On Jun 17 2010 Taos Mountain Room 427 June 8-9, 2010 Bed bugs emerged from the headboard both nights. Initially unsure at first of what they were, we killed them. However, in the night we were awoken by the sensation of bugs crawling on us. Additionally, there were welts on my husband's body from the bites. Management denied there were bed bugs and did not address the problem.
