On Aug 25 2011 Susan742 wrote, ...The decision to not take a shower was confirmed by then finding that at least half the towels were actually dirty. There was also sweaty-man smell in one of the two chairs in the room. Needless to say, we were pretty grossed out by this hotel. We'll definitely look elsewhere for our next trip. But one good thing about the hotel-no sign of bedbugs. Have to give them credit for something positive.

On Jan 10 2011 One room in the Econo Lodge near Cedarpoint on September 25, 2010, was completely infested. We pulled back the bedsheets and there were several bugs crawling around on the bed. One of us got badly bitten all over her shoulder. Had to argue to get our money returned and moved to another hotel. The management did not seem surprised.

On Sep 27 2010 khags wrote, BEWARE, there is an active infestation at this motel. One of my travel companions was bitten several times overnight. She found blood on the sheets, bites on her arm and shoulder, and upon pulling the sheets back found live bugs on the mattress. My previous experience with this motel was very positive, but after this experience I will never return.

On Aug 8 2010 rsparks1962 wrote, We stayed at this hotel with our two teenagers because of it's proximity to Cedar Point - all I can say is that after staying in this hotel - we came home with bed bugs - should have known not to put the suitcases on the floor - pay a little extra and stay in a hotel with clean beds. It cost us nearly $1600 to have the bed bugs removed from our home after our stay in this hotel.
