On Jan 30 2012 ...on me. I called and spoke with the hotel manager. She told me they were looking into it. She would not give me any information about what was found, she said the hotel doesn't give out information about this. The manager also told me that she didn't know where else I may have stayed and could have gotten this from my home. WOW! Do not stay at this hotel unless you want to bring home bed bugs.

On Dec 28 2011 Anthony wrote, Stayed one night on Sept 19th 2011 - I had bed bug bites all over my face and arms. I called the hotel to alert them to the situation, and they called me back a week later stating there was no issue and I must have stayed somewhere else! Stay away!

On Dec 21 2009 littlelady1023 wrote, ...front desk staff. The rooms are shabby and not up to par, but many hotel rooms in State College are not. One other note: There has been a bug bed infestation in downtown State College and I would be apprehensive to stay at this hotel because of the potential of bed bugs. The bottom line: don't book here. The Penn Stater, though a bit farther away, is clean and the customer service is impeccable.
