Still, the experience has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. This is always a huge fear about staying in hotels and it actually happened! I'm disgusted! Shame on you, Candlewood, for renovating the rooms but keeping old couches with bedbug infestation! We are soo disappointed!

The hotel is way off the beaten path, and so safe to leave all her stuff in the car (the only good thing about it). The place felt so unclean that we all were worried about bedbugs. We didn't see any, but it made it hard to sleep. It felt like more like a welfare hotel than a business hotel.

On Nov 26 2007 EPT wrote, ...was granted. When we arrived to this room the smell wasn't that bad, but there were burning marks after kettles in the carpet and on the table. The bed however was said to be totally new, so no bed bugs. The temperature in the room was good and it is nice to have a kitchenette. The former review stated that there had been some changes from earlier year, but they still have a long way to go.
