On Mar 14 2011 ...there were no problems at those particular places. Being in the hotel industry I am aware of the bedbug situation and did inspect the bed and linens upon arrival in our room. On Oct 29 2010 I recently stayed for a visit at the Clarion Hotel the week ending of 10-22-10. After leaving the hotel, I was very itchy and noticed red bumps all over my body. I went to my physician and was informed that the bumps were in fact beg bug bites. The Clarion was the only place I have stayed in years other than my home. I did not have the red bumps before staying there.

On Nov 8 2009 sparkdebate wrote, ...sort of infection (symptoms of sore throat, stuffiness, and chest pain upon touch). Out of 6 students, 4 had severe bites and rash/swelling develop within a day (not normal for bed bug bites). We immediately checked out. I intend to register a complaint with the Scranton Board of Health. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! This experience would not have been acceptable at $30 per night, let alone $89.
