The room was ok, but I saw that the mattresses had the plastic barriers that are meant to retard bed bugs. There didn't seem to be any, which was good. Breakfast offerings included oatmeal, waffles, cold cereal, coffee. Shuttle back to the airport was quick and friendly.

When I asked the front desk staff member why the mattresses were encased, she said that it was to prevent bedbugs. Ugh. Really? I'd rather take my chances and get a good night's sleep. I usually stay at choice hotels, but I will stay somewhere else next time I am in Philly.

On Sep 9 2011 aug.5,2011 staff pleasant, shuttle prompt, breakfast good. problem: had a 4:30 AM wake-up call. turned lights on and found bedbugs on pillow, blanket, and under mattress. management comped our room but denied they were bedbugs. they were size, shape, color of bedbugs and filled with blood. he didn't know what they were. really?

On Aug 31 2011 checked in on aug.4,2011. had a wake-up call at 4:30 AM. awoke to find bedbugs on a pillow, blanket and under mattress ( filled with blood!). management comped our room.

I got little sleep that night because all I could smell was garlic and it made me wander if someone was trying to keep the bedbugs away. On Oct 6 2010 ...I inspected my room as I do in all hotels I stay at; Room # 305: I found potential evidence of Bed Bugs from a string of blood stain dots along the side of the mattress. I was not 100% certain but was concerned when I saw the box spring was fully sealed in plastic, therefore I changed rooms. On Sep 9 2010 Robert wrote, I am the General Manager. I can tell you 100% room 404 in our hotel never ever had any bed bugs. Since this has been in the press, any bite is always reported as bedbugs. It usually turns out to be average everyday bugs that can get into any hotel at any time. We have a professional exterminator every month check the property.
