On Jul 18 2012 Lori D wrote, ...and I had the kids wait in the car while we went and inspected the room. After hearing that "bedbugs" were on the rise, we wanted to check. (we do this to every hotel) We checked the mattresses, the floors, the baseboards, chairs and bathroom. We used our small flashlights and after doing research on them, they are very hard to see with the naked eye. After checking all that, we found NOT ONE BUG....

On Aug 19 2011 we stayed here on august 05-07th. we found a bug on the bed but didnt know at the time that what it was. After searching the beds and blankets, we didnt find any other bugs so thought maybe it was just an outside bug that got inside. On Jul 2 2011 I stayed at this hotel on Tuesday June 28th. Woke up in the middle of the night with iching and bites all over me. Reported to the staff the next day and they acted like they did not believe me. Showed to bites to pharmisist and they said it looked like bed bug bites. They said it was the worst case they had seen. Big bites all over my back, arms, and leg.

On Nov 8 2010 I have stayed at this location several times and have NEVER encountered any bedbugs. The rooms at the Red Roof Inn South are always clean and the staff is very helpful.
