On Dec 17 2008 Best Westernfairfax wrote, I stayed in room 209, October 26-31. I came home with bites. I did not know what the problem was. About a 10 or so days later my doctor determined that they were bed bug bites. I called the Fairfax County Health Department and they inspected the room. The hotel admitted that they had had the room treated on November 4 (4 days after my checkout) and the Health Inspector cited them for bedbugs

On Jun 26 2005 A TripAdvisor Member wrote, You might have heard the expression "Don't let the bed-bugs bit". Well it's true. They allows dogs and campers to check-in, and apparently don't fume the rooms afterward. I have lots of bug bites to prove it. It's cheap, and it shows. DC has to be one of the most overpriced city for dumpy hotels, only second to NYC.
