On Aug 9 2011 EH wrote, ...welts all over my ankles and feet. Carpet in room was damp as if just shampooed, and had an unpleasant chemical odor. Reported to hotel manager, who denied that the room had been treated, but admitted that the hotel had had bed bug issues. She suggested that the bites were from mosquitoes, but I had not been outdoors since checking into the hotel. My money was refunded, but the bites remain.
