On Jun 5 2012 Brian N wrote, Close to all kinds of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Even if you have to take a taxi elsewhere it is still cheap. The location is great and the area is ok to stay at and not dangerous if you're with people or are street smart by yourself. The hotel bill was cheap and the rooms were clean and no bed bugs at all. I would stay here again for the price and location.

On Jul 30 2011 Atlanta_student wrote, ...didn't utilize the WIFI but I did enjoy the free morning coffee. Unlike other reviewers I found the bathroom was clean with hot running water and the room was fairly large and no problems like bed bugs. The hotel is fairly old and a few homeless people in the nearby area (but isn't that the case everywhere in San Fran). But I think it is a good price for a hotel that is a 10 min walk to downtown.

A few small bugs discovered lounging around my room and an outside study of my bite marks confirmed that bed bugs were the instigators.
